You may recently have heard a story on National Public Radio about the fact that the Federal Government has declared disaster areas in all but two of the contiguous 48 states so far this year. Wildfires here in Texas, combined with drought; hurricanes on the east coast; floods everywhere and even a few earthquakes have given just about everyone in the US a reason to think about how to manage business continuity and personal safety during a disaster.

But, did you also know that Texas currently leads the list of disaster-prone states according to FEMA?
